Working with depression:
Depression can affect many people at different points of their lives. For many people it can be something that they experience often through their lives and
others may only experience it once or twice in their lifetime. One thing that I do find people experience, is the negative self talk that works to often take
them deeper into that cycle of depression. Many people end up coming to me as a last resort they just do not know what to do next.
How I view depression:
I personally see depression as your bodys natural way of slowing you down, so you are forced to create an opportunity to look at your emotional self, and develop a deeper understanding of your needs, to bring yourself back to balance. I have worked with people from all walks of life and ages, experiencing depression can often mean that it takes everything they have to finally ask for help.The approach that I take:
Hypnotherapy and NLP are only some of the tools that I use, to help people to start to feel better. Everyone is different, and that means the approach that I will take is client centred, I believe that evey one knows deep down what they need within them to find balance. So we work together to find the best approach for them. It is my job to guide them through that process of inner awareness. You are like a walking pharmacy and within you have an amazing ability to bring balance and wellbeing to your mind and your body. When we have a deeper understanding of our inner self talk, and look at ways that we can talk to ourselves in a more helpful way, this can help you to create positive emotional change.
