The following rules or "Terms" govern use of this site. By using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Meredith McCarthy to follow these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing this site. Meredith McCarthy reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the site. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, please do not use the site.
Session charges
By making an appointment you fully understand your rights and that you will be charged the full price of the session. The full price of that session is to be settled at the end of each session. If you do not turn up and you have not informed Meredith McCarthy by leaving a message via either a text, email or answerphone service, you will be billed the full price of that session. You will be charged a cancellation fee of $40 NZ dollars if you give less than 24 hours’ notice of your cancellation. There is no cancellation fee if more than 24 hours’ notice is given.
Charges for retreats and classes
When booking for a class or a retreat there is a $100NZD (incl. GST) non-refundable booking fee. In some cases if there is illness or another situation that cannot be avoided, your booking fee may be able to be transferred to another retreat or class. This is on a case by case basis.
Returns/Refunds
Due to the fact that CDs can be easily copied, we only offer exchanges for defective CDs and no refunds. Each audio title has a lengthy audio preview available so you can make sure you like the CD prior to ordering. We guarantee all CDs sold on this site to be free from manufacturer's defects for a period of 365 days from date of purchase. Simply return any defective CDs to us for replacement. Downloadable products are non-refundable.

Shipping policy for non-downloadable merchandise:
All shipping is via New Zealand Post or parcel post depending on the weight of the shipment. We ship with delivery confirmation (where available). The actual time to receive your order is usually about 7 calendar days, but times may vary slightly. All orders leave our warehouse in 1 to 3 business days.
International orders outside the New Zealand
All international orders are shipped via airmail or are shipped via the best way determined by our shipper, and should arrive in 5 to 10 days depending on the country of receipt (according to the postal service). We have found this time frame to be overly optimistic in many cases and actual delivery times can take 3 weeks or more.
Downloadable products
There is no shipping charge for downloadable products, and all downloadable products are available for you to download immediately after completing your order.

Please be aware that hypnosis is a tool that can assist you in many ways. You understand that by using Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP, Coaching, Clinical Supervision or Reiki it is not always a replacement for medications or other support that you may already have in place to assist you with your emotional or physical state of wellbeing. The hypnotic suggestions that I may make to you are suggestions that would never put your wellbeing in danger. You understand that anything that you disclose within each session is confidential unless you are a danger to yourself or someone else and need outside assistance. I will keep any records of the session safe at all times and if you feel that I have not delivered my service to a professional standard that you have a right to put forward your concerns by phone or in writing to the New Zealand Association of Professional Hypnotherapists (NZAPH), or the health and disability commissioner.
By making an appointment you fully undersand your rights, and that Meredith McCarthy will not be held accountable for anything that you may choose to do after a session. You understand that you are fully accountable for your actions towards yourself or to others.
